my name is dug, i have just met you and i love you!

i shall take a break from all that woody pirtle researching,

& take some time to rant about the latest pixar animation, "UP"!

needless to say,

UP was flightfully fantastic. (:

'twas sweet, sweeter than laputa - castle in the sky!

i really loved the explosion of colours,

especially of the balloons and KEVIN!

haha i was still sharing with my typography class that day about my passion for colours.

sometimes, the mindless use of the spectrum of colours may seem unprofessional and even get kinda nauseating.

but i think pixar rendered them beautifully.

it was breathlessly amazing!

loved the plot as well.

the first 10 minutes of the show was brilliant. (:

that simple & sweet love story with minimal dialogue, paving the way for a thrilling adventure that follows.

the love of carl for ellie can really make me cry.

the ending was real poignant as well.

especially at the part where carl pinned the ellie badge on russel.

what a heartwarming & tearjerking moment.

I LOVE DUG! (: super cute!

where else on earth do you find a talking dog that hides under your porch just because he loves you? hehe.

ooh yes the short film "Partly Cloudy" before the show rocked too! hilariously touching. (:

watched everything in 3D,

which definitely heightens the movie experience man! (:

haha i'm gonna be so tempted to watch more animations in 3D next time.

really hope the dvd appears in admlibrary soon! WOOTS.
