let all, with heart and voice, before His throne rejoice

The musical program for the 2003 marching season was entitled, “With Heart and Voice.” Based on an old Spanish hymn, David Gillingham named the piece after a line in the first verse of the hymn: “Let all, with heart and voice, before His throne rejoice.” The voice, in this case, is the music and the heart is the emotion that the music renders in celebration. The composition was originally commissioned in 2001 as a piece for concert band.

I LOVE THIS PIECE TO PIECES!
to me, it's one of the best wind ensemble pieces ever written.
it's so intense my heart pumps really fast everytime i listen to it, sending me goosebumps all over.
to God be the glory for such splendid work!
