sunday was my 1st night in hall..

.. and i cried myself to sleep.

i've never missed home so badly before.

especially now when i'm so much closer to my parents.

although it can get terribly lonely right here,

but i know You're always here with me.

i guess the purpose of this little suffering will be revealed in Your time.

perhaps it's to mould me to be more independent.

perhaps it's to teach me to treasure my family better.

God allowed 4 things to happen today which lifted my spirits.

1) a fun & productive prof prac discussion with my new friend, jin wen.

2) wei's act of love by giving me sachets of curcumin for my gastric.

3) yuhui's act of love by giving us jiayou messages & subway cookies.

4) parents' smses of concern.
