my favourite scene from "the kid",
written, produced, directed, music composed by and starring charlie chaplin (as the tramp) and jack coogan (as the kid).
such a beautifully-sentimental film, which tickles me & pulls on my heartstrings at the same time. the acting by the kid never fails to amaze me.. he's one fine actor for a child! & he's so cute. (:

Yesss. I think I like it better than modern times!
ReplyDeleteme too! but i like modern times too! esp at the end when chaplin says "never say die" and motions for the girl to smile.. 'twas really heartwarming.
